What do I need before connecting my vehicle?

Before you start, make sure you have:

A compatible vehicle that supports the required connected-service/telematics features.

An active manufacturer connected-service account (the account used for your vehicle’s official app/portal).

Your login details ready (and access to your email/phone for verification codes).

A stable internet connection on your phone (Wi‑Fi or cellular).

The latest version of the Smartcar app installed.
Recommended checks: • Ensure your vehicle has cellular coverage in your area. • Disable VPN/Private DNS temporarily if it blocks authentication pages. • Allow permissions requested during setup (network, notifications; location if used for features).
